Here at " K9 Connections" my mission is to build a very tight connection between you and your dog. This will enable you to trust your dog more, as well as for your dog to trust you more allowing you to have full control of every aspect of his life, making YOU without a doubt the Pack leader in your relationship. It is crucial for your dog to respond to your commands no matter what the distractions may be. In an “off-leash” situation this can be the matter of life and death. I will train your dog a foundation of basic obedience. This consists of Sit, Down, Wait, Leave it, Heel (no pulling) and Come. After this foundation is achieved we can then move on to other issues and or behavior problems your dog may have. Or perhaps you would like your dog trained for Protection Work or Search and Rescue.
I have trained dogs my entire life. I share a very close bond with them and have had great success with each dog that I have trained. Please remember that each dog has his or her own personality and learning curve. It is NOT breed specific! Some dogs can learn a task in 5 or 10 minutes, another dog may require a week to learn the same task. But given the proper motivation and patience your dog can achieve anything!
